For the 2025 Whistler Writers Festival, I designed the event collateral to support this year’s theme, “Joyful Resistance.” The creative direction drew inspiration from autumn, using warm fall colours and drifting leaves to convey resilience, creativity, and optimism. Subtle visual cues, such as maple leaves, nod to the festival’s focus on Canadian authors and publishers, grounding the identity in a strong sense of place and cultural pride.

The goal was to balance thoughtful messaging with a warm, welcoming tone, reflecting the festival’s commitment to literature, community, and creative expression during a time of broader uncertainty. Deliverables included posters, signage, social media graphics, and digital ads, all designed to feel cohesive, seasonal, and quietly powerful.
